I rate books using the 5 star system. Ratings are explained below:
| 1 Star | DNF’d |
| 2 Stars | Not a fan but tolerable enough to finish |
| 3 Stars | Decent book but it didn’t hit like I wanted |
| 4 Stars | I loved this book and would happily recommend it |
| 5 Stars | I was SAT for this book. Everyone needs to read it |
Spice will also be rated on a 1 to 5 scale:
| 1 | No spice/closed door |
| 2 | A little spice – no more than one open door scene |
| 3 | Spicy but nothing crazy – one or more tame open door scenes |
| 4 | A+ spice and a solid plot |
| 5 | Spice is the main focus or the spice was WILD |
